Repricing

Lowering the fare on your existing booking to the current public price, without cancelling and rebooking.

Also called reprice, rate adjustment

Repricing means the cruise line adjusts the fare on your existing reservation down to the current public price. You keep your cabin, your booking number and your promotions.

It is the best available outcome of a price drop claim, because the value comes back as actual money: a refund if you have paid in full, or a smaller remaining balance if you have not.

Repricing is generally only available before final payment. Afterwards most lines switch to onboard credit or an upgrade.
